Red Barn Snow Scene

I had a break from landscape painting practice over Christmas but I'm getting back into it now. This was supposed to be for my December Watermedia challenge, but I've only just finished it. First time I've painted snow and it didn't go too badly.

About My Art....

I've had a go at just about everything in the past...Card making, Art Journals, Collage/Mixed Media, Photography, Papercraft, Embroidery, and Scrapbooking.

I've moved onto fine art in the last few years, and my main interests are Landscape, Botanical and Wildlife art. As I get older I'm becoming more and more passionate about nature and conservation issues, and find these are the subjects I want to study and paint.

I've never had any art lessons at all, so I've learnt from books and videos. I like watercolours and coloured pencils (both the dry type and water-solubles).
